dc.description.abstractEste trabalho de conclusão de curso pretende analisar, de forma panorâmica, a relação do Movimento Armorial na fase experimental (1970 a 1980) com a Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), ele busca realizar uma análise a partir do lançamento deste movimento. Este tema foi escolhido porque a s pesquisas sobre o Movimento pouco se refere a presença crucial da UFPE, neste evento tão importante para a cultura pernambucana. A metodologia baseou-se em pesquisa bibliográfica e no levantamento de documentação do Centro Cultural Benfica (CCB), o qual possui um acervo numeroso sobre o Movimento Armorial, adquirido durante a gestão desta instituição pelo professor Ariano Suassuna, líder deste movimento. A análise foi orientada pelas teorias de cultura popular, especialmente por Peter Burke, José Jorge de Carvalho e Alfredo Bosi. Constatou-se que a relação entre este movimento e a UFPE mediada por Ariano Suassuna, desempenhou-se importante papel nas políticas culturais pernambucanas nas décadas de 1960 e 1970.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxThe present study aims to analyze, through a panoramic perspective, the relationship between the Armorial Movement in its experimental phase (1970 to 1980) and the Federal University of Pernambuco (FUPE) since the movement’s release. The topic’s choice was motivated by the fact that the researches regarding the Armorial Movement little refers to the crucial participation of the FUPE in such an important event for the culture of Pernambuco. The base methodology included bibliographical research and document surveys in the Benfica Cultural Center, which possess a rich collection about the Armorial Movement acquired during the management of Professor Ariano Suassuna, the movement’s leader. The analysis was oriented by theories of popular culture, especially by Perter Burke, José Jorge de Carvalho and Alfredo Bosi. It was found that the relationship between the movement and the FUPE, mediated by Ariano Suassuna, played a fundamental role in the cultural policies of Pernambuco during the decades of 1960 and 1970.pt_BR
