dc.description.abstractMucocele é um termo utilizado para diagnosticar clinicamente dois fenômenos que podem acometer as glândulas salivares menores, sendo eles o fenômeno de extravasamento e o cisto de retenção mucoso. O objetivo desse relato de caso foi relatar o caso clínico de uma paciente com mucocele das glândulas de Blandin-Huhn em ventre lingual. A paciente do sexo feminino, 19 anos de idade, apresentando um aumento de volume em região de ventre lingual com evolução clínica de 30 dias. Com características clínicas pedunculado, macio ao toque, bem circunscrito e em formato de cúpula. Foi preconizado uma biópsia excisional, seguido de exame histopatológico que confirmou tratar-se de uma mucocele das glândulas de Blandin-Nuhn. A paciente foi acompanhada sem sinais de complicações ou recidivas. Conclui-se que é necessária aplicação de um exame clínico minucioso, com se necessário solicitação de exames complementares e sua análise detalhada para que o diagnóstico do paciente seja preciso e um correto tratamento seja abordado.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxMucocele is a term used to clinically diagnose two phenomena that can affect the minor salivary glands, namely the phenomenon of extravasation and the mucous retention cyst. The objective of this case report was to describe the clinical case of a patient with mucocele of the Blandin-Huhn glands on the lingual ventral surface. The patient was a 19-year-old female who presented with an increase in volume in the region of the lingual ventral surface with clinical evolution of 30 days. With clinical characteristics: pedunculated, soft to the touch, well-circumscribed and dome-shaped. An excisional biopsy was recommended, followed by histopathological examination, which confirmed that it was a mucocele of the Blandin-Huhn glands. The patient was followed up without signs of complications or recurrences. It is concluded that a thorough clinical examination is necessary, with, if necessary, requesting additional tests and their detailed analysis so that the patient's diagnosis is accurate and the correct treatment can be addressed.pt_BR
