dc.description.abstractEsta monografia tem como objetivo examinar criticamente como a concordância com o verbo 'ser' (indicando quantidade) é abordada em três gramáticas normativas importantes: Rocha Lima (2011), Evanildo Bechara (2010) e Cunha & Cintra (2016). Isto é, será feita uma descrição de como os autores destacados prescrevem a concordância do verbo “ser” nos casos em que este indica noções de quantidade. Dessa forma, este estudo destaca pontos de acordo e desacordo nas explicações oferecidas por essas gramáticas, ao mesmo tempo em que problematiza, em seguida, tais prescrições. Fica evidente, pois, que a proposta central é que a análise da norma gramatical seja complementada por reflexões críticas acerca da estrutura, valorizando o fenômeno variação linguística inerente à existência da língua portuguesa.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxThis monograph aims to critically examine how agreement with the verb ‘ser’ (indicating quantity) is addressed in three important normative grammars: Rocha Lima (2011), Evanildo Bechara (2010), and Cunha & Cintra (2016). That is, a description will be made of how the featured authors prescribe the agreement of the verb ‘ser’ in cases where it indicates notions of time and quantity. Thus, this study highlights points of agreement and disagreement in the explanations offered by these grammars, while at the same time problematizing such prescriptions. It is clear, therefore, that the central proposal is that the analysis of grammatical norms be complemented by critical reflections on structure, valuing the phenomenon of linguistic variation inherent in the existence of the Portuguese language.pt_BR
