Legal Frames

Access to the intellectual works deposited in the Institutional Repository of UFPE must observe the legal hypotheses of mandatory secrecy in force, especially those contained in the following laws:

I - Lei 9.279/1996 (Regulates industrial property rights and obligations);

II - Lei 9.609/1998 (Provides for the protection of the intellectual property of a computer program);

III - Lei 10.973/2004 (Innovation and scientific and technological research);

IV - Lei 12.527/2011 (Regulates access to information).

Any intellectual work will be considered as open access if it is not subject to any legal determination of secrecy or restrictions to be made available to the general public.
